Our Burlington Staff

Keith Karpinski, PT, ATC, TPI Certified

Keith is a graduate of the University of Vermont and has been a licensed physical therapist since 1998. He became a certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association in 2001 and was a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association from 1999 to 2020. Since 2003, he has been an integral member of Long Trail Physical Therapy, specializing in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine. He has extensive experience collaborating with local orthopedic surgeons and providing comprehensive pre- and postoperative care. He is also a Certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Medical Professional. Keith has pursued extensive continuing education, completing all coursework in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment methodology for neck and back pain, as well as training in Kinesiotaping, Graston Technique, Dry Needling, and earning the Orthopedic Excellency Certificate in Upper Extremity, Spine, Lower Extremity, and ACL rehabilitation through MedBridge, among many other professional development programs. He is married with two daughters and enjoys strength training, golfing, and hiking in his personal time.

Makayla King, DPT, PT, ATC

Makalya is a local resident from the New North End of Burlington. She is a graduate of The University of Vermont with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. She attended Castleton University for her undergraduate degree where she double majored in Athletic Training and Health Sciences and graduated in 2020. Makayla joined Long Trail Physical Therapy in 2022. Makayla has extensive experience in sports medicine and outpatient orthopedics. While at Castleton, she worked daily with college athletes on and off the field. She has experience working with high school athletes at Burlington High School. Her personal interests include Crossfit, talking sports and finding local eats around the area with her partner Almir.  

Jessa Bouchard, Admin

Jessa has a passion for helping others and brings over 20 years of experience in customer service across a variety of platforms. She is committed to creating positive experiences and building lasting relationships within our community. Known for her strong communication skills and solutions-oriented approach, she consistently delivers caring support while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
